Mercer County Aktion Club
Newsletter - April 12, 2011

President Cindy May called the meeting to order. The club members said the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.  
A moment of silence was observed in memory of Vice-President Meredith Brunswick who suddenly, and totally unexpected, passed away last Friday.

Hans Rehrmann announced that his bicycle tour of Europe will begin on May the 5th from O'Hare Airport in Chicago. He will not be back until August.
A representative from the Coldwater Kiwanis Club announced that the recent Pancake Breakfast netted over $4,000 and he thanked the Aktion Club for their participation.


Past Lt. Governor and Celina Kiwanis Club member, Karen Cisco, handed out amulets to all Aktion Club members.

Today's speaker was Cindy Koesters, Life Enrichment Coordinator at Briarwood Village.

The next regular meeting of the Mercer County Aktion Club will be at 6 pm on May 10th, 2011 at the Briarwood Manor in 
Coldwater.
